• Fir wood: "Fir wood" refers to wood that comes from various species of coniferous trees belonging to the genus Abies of the Pinaceae family. It is a relatively soft and lightweight wood, with good flexibility. It is used for the manufacture of furniture, such as tables, chairs, beds and cabinets.
• MDF: MDF (Medium-density fibreboard) is a wood derivative. For its production, resins (glues) are used to bond wood fibers which are compressed with special heated presses. It is denser than chipboard and durable in strength. Also, it does not absorb moisture at all.

• Fir wood: Wipe the furniture regularly with a soft cloth to remove dust and dirt. Use a damp cloth to clean stains or liquids and dry immediately with a clean cloth.
• MDF: To clean it, use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Wipe the surface gently until the stain is removed. Finally, wipe the surface thoroughly with a dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, therefore it is important to protect it from humidity. Wipe any liquids immediately. Do not use strong cleaners or chemicals, as they may damage the MDF.
